writ of . In his petition for the writ, petitioner alleges that he is unlawfully imprisoned under a judgment of conviction and warrant
of commitment which are invalid because of the court's acceptance of his plea of guilty to the crime of attempted robbery
in the first degree when, at the time of his plea, his answers to the court's questions clearly indicated that because he
had been intoxicated at the time of the crime he was not sure that he had committed it, and had entered his plea of guilty
because of the inadequacy of counsel appointed to defend him.
